Poverty and Economic EmpowermentPoverty remains one of the major challenges facing families in our communities. Many households struggle to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, healthcare, education, and safe housing. Limited employment opportunities, lack of capital, inadequate skills, and limited access to markets make it difficult for many people to improve their economic situation.
Women, children, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable members of the community are often affected the most.
Abious Rehabilitation Initiative works to address poverty by helping vulnerable individuals and families develop sustainable sources of income.
We support communities through:
- Vocational and practical skills training to help people gain employable skills.
- Women and youth empowerment programmes that encourage entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
- Small business and income-generating initiatives to help families establish sustainable livelihoods.
- Support for vulnerable families with essential food, clothing, and other basic necessities.
- Agricultural and livelihood initiatives that enable households to produce food and generate income.
- Mentorship and community empowerment to help individuals identify opportunities and build confidence.
Our goal is not only to provide immediate assistance, but to help people develop the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to move from dependency to self-reliance.
