Education and Skills Development
Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. However, vulnerable children and young people may face barriers such as school fees, lack of learning materials, inadequate facilities, poverty, and limited access to skills training.
When children are unable to access quality education, their opportunities for employment and economic independence in adulthood can be severely limited.
What We Are Doing
Abious Rehabilitation Initiative supports education as a foundation for long-term community transformation.
Our programmes include:
- Supporting vulnerable children to access education.
- Providing educational materials and essential school supplies.
- Supporting children from disadvantaged families.
- Vocational and technical skills training for young people and adults.
- Supporting women and people with disabilities with practical skills.
- Promoting literacy and lifelong learning.
- Mentorship and guidance for young people.
We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to learn, develop their talents, and build a future filled with dignity and opportunity. Our education programmes therefore focus not only on academic learning, but also on practical skills, confidence, creativity, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
